1. Introduction

Welcome to PowerPro. We provide residential and commercial exterior cleaning services across the Wellington region. By booking or using our services, you acknowledge and agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

2. Services & Scope of Work

PowerPro specialises in the treatment and removal of organic growth including moss, mould, algae, and lichen from exterior surfaces. Services may include house washing, roof treatments, driveway and path cleaning, decks, fences, gutters, and related exterior cleaning.

Any contaminants outside this scope — including but not limited to oil stains, rust staining, paint marks, mineral deposits, etching, oxidation, or permanent discolouration — are not covered unless expressly stated in writing prior to commencement.

3. Roof Treatments

The client acknowledges that roof treatments are a long-term preventative process. Results are not immediate and may take several weeks or months to become fully visible, depending on contamination levels, roof type, and weather conditions. Lack of immediate visual change does not constitute a failure of service.

4. Customer Responsibilities

  • Provide clear and safe access to all work areas.
  • Ensure access to a functioning outdoor water supply.
  • Remove or protect fragile items, vehicles, and furniture near work zones.
  • Advise PowerPro of existing damage, sensitive areas, or surface concerns prior to work.
  • Notify neighbouring properties where overspray, noise, or access may be affected.
  • Disclose any gutter guards, leaf protection systems, or similar installations in advance.
  • The client is responsible for taping or sealing windows where water ingress is a concern, unless PowerPro has been specifically engaged to do so.

5. Property Conditions & Limitations

  • PowerPro is not liable for damage to surfaces already compromised by age, wear, rot, cracks, poor construction, or failing coatings.
  • We are not responsible for water ingress caused by unsealed windows, doors, vents, or existing defects.
  • All services are carried out in accordance with industry best practice, approved procedures, and safety requirements.

6. Weather & Rescheduling

  • Bookings may be postponed due to unsafe weather or site conditions.
  • Clients may reschedule with a minimum of 72 hours’ notice without penalty.

7. Payment & Cancellations

  • Payment is due in full on the day of service unless otherwise agreed.
  • Cancellations within 72 hours of the booking may incur a call-out or cancellation fee.

8. Satisfaction & Reworks

Any concerns must be raised within 48 hours of service completion. Where appropriate, PowerPro may return to address reasonable concerns related to the agreed scope of work.

9. Health, Safety & Compliance

All work is carried out in accordance with PowerPro’s Health & Safety policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and applicable New Zealand legislation. The client agrees to comply with any reasonable safety instructions provided on site.

10. Updates

PowerPro reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most current version will apply at the time of service.
